The Remembrance day

Nov 11 is celebrated as the day when Canadians remember the soldiers who have served and also the ones still serving the nation.

I was curious to know why people wear  Poppies on the lapels. The veterans managing the stall at one of the Malls apprised me of the acknowledgement and respect people show by wearing the same.

It is indeed a great gesture and surely an excellent way of support to the unsung heroes. It is a very inspiring experience for the new generation as well.

When we show our reverence to the cause and the brave cause-agents, we show our inherent milk of human kindness. By praising our well-meaning citizens, we boost their morale and give the cause a true semblance of worthiness.

Happy Remembrance Day
